1. Introduction
Thank you for choosing ELERTEX, an offline first time-tracking application designed to help you record working hours quickly and securely. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting any personal data you may share while using the app.
2. Data We Collect & How We Use It
- Work entries (date, start, end, break, target hours) - stored locally on your device only to calculate statistics and generate PDFs.
- Settings & last-used values - cached locally to speed up future entries.
- No analytics, advertising IDs or cloud back-ups are integrated. ELERTEX never transmits your data to our servers or third parties.
3. Local Storage & Security
All information is saved in an encrypted SQLite database located in the
app’s private storage sandbox (/data/data/com.texploder.elertex).
Other apps cannot access this area (unless your device is rooted).
Back-ups remain on your device; uninstalling the app permanently deletes
the database.
4. Permissions
- Files & Media – requested only when you export a working-hours report to PDF. The file is written to your Downloads folder so you can share it.
No other runtime permissions are required.
5. PDF Export
When you tap “Export PDF”, ELERTEX compiles a document on-device and
saves it as Arbeitszeiten.pdf inside the Download directory.
The file contains only the working-hour data visible in the overview.
You may share it through any compatible Android app; ELERTEX itself does
not send the file anywhere.
6. Third-Party Services
ELERTEX does not use third-party SDKs, cloud storage, crash reporting or advertising frameworks.
7. Children’s Privacy
ELERTEX is intended for professional use and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect improvements or legal requirements. The latest version will always be shipped with the app and published on our official website.
